Here’s how this week went down!

The Short and Sweet Version
What Piqued My Interest
In short … Stephen Wolfram. I came across him via a link on Twitter about his 65th birthday and all he had achieved in the last five years.
As I did a deeper dive into Wolfram and his life, I discovered that he might be a living version of Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory, he worked with Richard Feynman (long time hero of mine) and he’s been documenting almost everything for decades. One of my greatest regrets is not having a body of work/writing/notes from way back when. I was more burn, baby, burn and loved wiping the slate clean. I’m rectifying this as much as I can now.
One thing led to another and I found several podcasts with Wolfram. I’m working my way through them.
I downloaded one of his books, Adventures of a Computational Explorer, and read about his involvement as a consultant on the film Arrival. One of our favourites, we’re going to have to re-watch that soon.
What I Created
I’ve experienced an intersection of themes lately. There’s been an urge to really embrace life and my dreams. To focus on my wellbeing. Tim Denning created a 90 day challenge and I decided to take him up on it.
I’m writing every day - it might not be the best writing but it’s something. You can follow my progress here.
From the Archives
This was somewhat tongue in cheek but a working method of creating a reMarkable 2 if you already had an iPad. It gained a lot of interest on Medium.
Best Quote of the Week
To be nobody-but-yourself — in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else — means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting ~ E.E. Cummings
Review of my Week
Since 26th August, you focused on farm activities, particularly caring for your animals. You detailed purchasing essentials for the hens, like feed and anti-pecking spray, to improve their living conditions. A significant part of your interactions involved Tinkles, a lamb requiring extra attention and comfort. You collected blackberries, contributing to a wholesome breakfast, illustrating your engagement with the farm's ecosystem. Administratively, you caught up on tasks, signifying a blend of nurturing, procurement, and management responsibilities over the week.
